Follow the steps written below to know how to sign up as a new user account and assign a phone to that User.

You can sign up as an administrator, for this access the Nextiva Voice Portal available at www.nextiva.com and click to the Login link mentioned at the top of the page.
Now you have to log in to the portal with your admin credentials.
Now the main dashboard will appear on your screen, select Add Users there.
Then fill out the following fields mentioned below:

First Name
Last Name
Username: Select login name for the User which must be unique across all of Nextiva, and have the following points: Letters, Numbers, Periods (.), Hyphens (-), Colons (:), Square brackets ([ and ])
Email
Email Voicemails
Phone Number:
Extension
Primary number unreachable
Location.
Time Zone
Authorized User

Now get a Welcome email with login credentials to the user
Then you have to click the Save & Continue button placed the bottom-right of the page.
Now the next page will automatically open the E911 Address section, which is already filled out by the website.
Now you have to confirm that the User is physically present at the location so for that specified should they call 911 from their device. Then enter Save & Continue toward the bottom-right of the page.
A new page will automatically open the Device section. If you are ready to use a device, you have to select the Yes radio button.
Now choose a device previously added to your account, or you can also add a new device to the account if one is available. If you don’t have to add a device, select the No radio button.
Finally, you can also Upload a Greeting if you want. If you upload no greetings, the default greeting will play automatically.
The new user will receive an email address, containing a link to NextOS, with the unique username and password.
